For a real residential Busan neighborhood instead of Haeundae or Gwangalli, try Seodong in Geumjeong-gu: hillside alleys of 1990s houses around Seodong Maze Market, 10–15 minutes by bus No. 29 from Pusan National University, where Gogaeseodong (7 Seodong-ro 91beon-gil) runs a private-house stay, a shared kitchen and a private movie room.
